(More customer reviews)OK...you have a new pc and you want to either transfer settings from your old pc or you want to transfer old applications to the new pc OR you want to do both.
First of all, even when you manually install and tweak things on the new PC this is a tricky process in some cases. Do not expect miracles from this program or AlohaBob PC Relocator Ultra either.
This program will only transfer settings, not programs. If you need more, your out of luck.
This program lets you be very specific in what you want to transfer, the interface is simple and user-friendly, migrations are a bit slow in my opinion.
This program is PRECONFIGURED for 80 known and popular applications!! If you are pc illiterate, unfamiliar with networking, software settings, etc. - this program makes it easy for you and it only costs about $40.
If you need applications moved, ALOHABOB PC RELOCATOR ULTRA is the way to go. This program can be a good experience or a nightmare depending on your approach.
Let me suggest a few things for Desktop DNA or ALOHABOB -
1-READ THE MANUAL COMPLETELY
2-PERUSE THE SUPPORT/KNOWLEDGE BASE SECTION AT THE WEBSITE AND LOOK FOR PROBLEMS THAT MAY RELATE TO YOU.
3-UPDATE THE SOFTWARE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TRANSFERS
4-DO NOT EXPECT MIRACLES
5-IF YOU ARE PC ILLITERATE, YOU MAY NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE MORE SEASONED!!!
